Pb and a little Ag

Aurium

I was out for about 45 minutes on a very short hunt to a spot I've been hitting hard. I knew there was some silver there, as I was finding wheaties pretty regularly. I finally ran across this little rosie, it came out of the ground in pristine shape. I also picked up about 5 dollars in clad quarters, with a couple of coin spills that I also ran across.

I also thought I'd post some of my lead finds, hunting some riverbanks in the area. I know..lead isn't very exciting, but as you gather a few hunts together the quantities are interesting. The picture shows some of what I've already melted down, and quite a few that I haven't bothered with yet. I figure it's about a pound worth of lead. Now if some alchemist on this forum knows the formula for Pb =>Au conversion, I'd be willing to share the wealth. :)

Nice save on the dime. ( if you get that formula, let me know)

Thanks..I've been hunting in HiPro only now, kind of skipped out of CJ program. I'm really liking the HiPro, I'm not finding anything much over 6 inches in the places I've been hunting, but with your comments on the D2 coil I've been working it a lot more in the larger fields I've been hunting. I still really like the 5.3 coil, for really trashy spots. I was trying to dig some coins in gravel tonight..and wow was that tough digging, almost like chipping concrete I gave up on a couple of targets just because it was so hard to dig. (skeeters were horrible tonight)
