The coins and tokens are planted in sandy gravel from just under the surface down to a couple of inches (in the loose sand). The field is large. Not much trash. About half of the coins and tokens are recovered within the first 10- minutes; then for the rest of the time
it is slower "pickens."
The various White's with a Bigfoot seems to be "top gun." Very popular. Between those that use it, or the Tesoro Cleansweep, seem to have an advantage in more covering more ground per sweep... (they seem to work well with the detectorist keeping his arm straight out while making a big sweep) and also by tilting the coil can pin-point quicly.
Also, the White's seem to to walk over... i.e. the frequency... over my Garrett 250...
Will the add-on frequency shift help? Also, any suggetions on what coil-size would be a good choice using a 250 in one of these competition events?
