Was plantin' tomatoes in the yard this a.m. up here in Lorimor, Iowa, & this old boy pulled up in his old PU truck........ knew him, but, never really visited w/ him. We got 2 talkin' & he said that he'd seen me around town w/ my "Gieger Counter"!!! (LOL...silentley!). Wanted 2 know if I would do him a favor. Wanted 2 know if I found stuff w/ that "thing"! So, I told him about the coins & ring & other stuff I'd found. I got a smile on his face. He had his VFW cap on w/ a lot of pins, ribbons, & trinckets attatched to it. Found out he was 88 years young. Wanted 2 know if I would take my machine to our cemetary tomorrow & locate the pots in the ground that he was going 2 put the VETS flags in. Said they had been mowed over & filled in & he couldn't find 'em for him. Well, myself being retired AF (23 yrs), Didn't have 2 think twice 'bout it! Going tomorrow 5-26 @ 9:00 ....We'll all find 'em.... me, & him, & my "Gieger Counter!!" SS II UM, that is! Will let ya'll know how it goes. Can't hardly stand this! Gotta' go. BOUNTY HUNTER & HEE HAW salute my hometown.... Lorimor, Iowa.... pop. 439.... SAAAALLUTE!!!! Bigsquid55
