Pastures with electric fences

Marko

New member
Has anyone figured out a way to keep the detector stable when working a pasture surrounded with an electric fence. The pulsing electric field causes the unit to false a lot especially when it passes near an iron target. I have gotten access to some great fields but cannot turn the fence off because there is livestock in there [the upside is that they keep the grass low].

I read recently that someone was hunting near electric fences. They hadto set the sens very low ( 12 ) and run on auto. Good luck
