Past two day's water goodies...

Sunday, I snuck out again, as my other half didn't realize I had the day off. I went to a beach I haven't been to in over a year. I was expecting a really junky, trashy, beach, from what I remember. In actuality, it wasn't that bad. I guess someone else has been hitting it as well. I managed to get a small silver pendant, along with over $2 in clad. I've recovered an IH penny from here, and know of a few V nickels, but the oldest coin I got was a really thin '61D Mem' cent. Here's a pic of the pendant:

Today, I went to a nearby lake that was jam-packed with folks Sunday afternoon. This is a big beach, but the swimming area is really, really, clean, as it's not only popular with swimmers, but with other MD'ers as well. And I know it's being hit hard, I as stepped into several holes in the sand. C'mon, folks, FILL YOUR HOLES! I got one piece of jewelry, this ring:

It gave a nice, strong mid-tone signal on my CZ-20, but when I pulled it from the scoop, I knew something was up. It's LIGHT! And, the color's off, even for White Gold. It's not marked. Right now, I'm assuming Steel, or Titanium. It's kind of hard to notice in the shot, as the camera focused on the back side of the ring, but the dragon motif was cut with either a laser, or some kind of saw, as both sides were cut at once, straight through the ring. You can see where whatever it was came up through the bottom of the band. It's a big ring, too, about a size 10 1/2 or 11.
