Thanks Angela. Thats a good question? after all the years I've been hunting for silver coins thats the first time I've been asked that. I checked out my coin book and it says, composition .900 silver .100 copper.

So how many barbers, mercs and rosies do you have for the last few months?

Those are some really nice coins. I've only found 1 barber coin. It was worn so bad I couldn't see the date.

So far this season I have 53 silver coins 28 Indian heads 1 large cent and other assorted goodies. I try for at least 100 silver coins per season. The past couple years its been real tough I'm usually out right up until the snow falls to try and get those last couple. With the Quattro this year I'm looking to have them by the end of June. This machine is amazing. I also have a Tesoro Tejon for a relics/woods machine. Very light weight great to back pack, plenty of power plus you can hunt all day with zero arm fatigue. And in the water I use a Whites Beach Hunter ID. also a very nice machine very easy to use and very reliable I've had alot of sucess with it.

Sounds and looks like your doing very well so far . You must have alot of places to go to in your area. Im having some problems finding new places here, most properties are posted and some parks dont allow metal detecting .
