Past couple of weeks finds at the new spot

Hello all. Been on vacation since the 6th of Oct. Camping trip with the family in New Hampshire. Been out detecting 4 times since the 17th at the new spot. Still finding a bunch of Indian Heads(soaking In oil). Yesterday I found a 187? mangled seated dime. Looks like someone took a hammer to it. Today I found a few more Injuns and a nice 1892 Barber dime. I have switched over to the 9inch stock coil going over an area that I already did with the 9inch 3kHz cc coil already. Machine is set at Disc1, 27sens and in tracking though I have used auto gb for about an hour today at 16. A couple of other finds I posted pics of are what I believe is a shoe buckle? Comments? Another is a Daughters of the American Revolution Pin. This I got excited about! Got online to read about their history. Wish I could trace the #s on the back to the original rightful owner or their relative's! Also found a neat button marked BSR. Searching the net I came up with Boston School Regiment. Comments on the piece are more than welcome!!! Not sure of the era or info on this. Last is this funky gold ring. It has a hallmark inside. I think its 18k marked but strange thing is the outside diameter looks like rot all the way around the ring. Makes me think its gold plated and not solid gold. Any comments???? To me it looks like someone tried to pull a fast one way back when! LOL. Thanks for looking at my post all and HH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool finds. I just picked up a 70 today. I used to have the 50 and 505. I really enjoyed them for coins shooting. I will be looking forward to get it out again. Thanks for sharing your pics!!

Very nice finds WoodsWalker. A few years ago I found a pin identical to yours. I called the Washington office of Daughters of the American Revolution and gave them the number on the back of the pin. They told me that the lady who lost the pin "would most certainly have passed away" and that they had no record of any living relatives. They would not reveal the name of the pin's owner but this information did indicate that the pin was old. You could call them and see what you might learn.../Syd

Really nice finds, you've got some great sites to hunt. Is there much garbage to go along with it? Some of the older sites Ive hunted are just layered with all kinds of metals from pull tabs to decaying bits of iron.
I just picked up the 6" 3khz digger coil and we are at the beginning of the frosty time of year where I get back to the woods so Im looking forward to giving this one a try. Most of the older coins have only been found down about 6" so this coil should be fine. Some are only an inch or two down which is amazing to me.
. I stay out of the woods in summer when ticks are more active, suckers are everywhere and loads of them.

Wow you are doing very good. Keep them coming because we like seeing them.

Sweet shoe Buckle

Very nice finds. That old dime is a beauty. When you say disc 1, do you mean stock program 1 or you have set the detector to be open to just about everything ? Thanks.
