Passing by West Point

on the way to Radio City today to see the Christmas Spectacular. Just rode by West Point on the Hudson River. As I am sitting on the train I am looking out at all these great places to detect along the river from my place all the way New York City. I cant imagine how many cannon balls George Washington buttons and large cents are still out there. but the ground is frozen now so I will have to wait till spring time to find out.

Quite a few stories on how the Cadets would walk down to the river bank for "unauthorized" activities.
It might be cold, but there are no weeds, bugs or undesirables down there this time of year.

:drool:Lots of ground to cover with the ctx3030 next spring Gary.

Hey I think I saw you go buy on the train. Were you the guy with your tonge hanging out and your face against the window?
