Passer by gave me some history and a ring test

i was detecting an old lot and a lady came by and told me exactly whear the old house was , and i noted the nice gold ring on her finger and asked if i could test it out whith my golden umax to see whear the tone was ---- by gully it came in exactly whith the nickle sound , and it was a nice ring 14 k whith diamond so just one tone above iron humm if you are not digging nickles you are missing gold rings ,

A couple of the missus' ornate 14k rings show foil on my ID detectors and discriminate out just about the middle of the foil range on the Cibola, Tejon and Compadre. Gold jewelry covers a broad range.
