Partner kicked the bucket!

A little excitement today when my partner hit the top rim of a galvanized bucket at an old, old home site. The top rim was over a foot deep. Well, when you see that you just know it's a cache reight? Wrong, it was a bust! Nice bucket though, now why was it buried there?

I bet your hopes for a sizable cache were high, only to find out it was an old bucket out of place at the old farm site. You had better take a few days off to grieve.

Damn it! hahaha :ranting: happened to me as well with a pot,:surprised: five minutes with the adrenaline through the roof :hot:and five days crying because I was empty

Yes, I was at an old farm site once.

Dug into the ground and hit an old mason jar lid and a glass jar beneath it.

I thought "CACHE"!!!

Dug down a little bit more and it was just the top part of a broken jar. I excavated the rest to make sure there was nothing beneath it. There wasn't.

But man, that adreniline rush sure was nice while it lasted.
