Partner in Southern PA

Just bought an F4, cause it was in my budget and I didn't want to get too expensive since I haven't been detecting for 40 years or more. Anyway looking over the manual I am really lost on using this thing. The worst part is it's 12 below today so it's gonna be a while before I can find some dirt to dig in and I'm a hands on guy who can't learn much from words n pictures. Anyone have any quick tips to make all the gobblydygook more understandable? Really would appreciate it. And if I could find someone with an F4 or similar machine or experience enough to straighten me out here in western Pa that would put the icing on the cake.

Thanks and happy hunting

Sirmig.....sorry I havent gotten back to you sooner...havent been online much lately with all the crappy weather and a busy work schedule. Looks like you are only about 40 miles away...which isnt that bad. Maybe after the weather gets better we can look into getting together sometime if you are interested.
