had to register again,, old name was coin hog,, as you recall,, easter sunday I was fortunate to find alwalking liberty in a nearby ball field,, now that spring baseball has started I have decided to go back to the grassy area near the parking meters,,, happy to say teh police has passed me by many times and havent said a word,, I have been carefull to take a plastic bag to lay the dirt on and leaving no holes,, I have went back over ground I hit last year and am stilll amazed at the amount of coins coming out of the ground,, in two days with my wife along for company,, we have found 136 coins,, one token,, and 1-64D Roosie,, , I am passing up hits,, only becasue there so close to the metal pole of teh meter that when I get anywhere close to the pole,, it just sends the machine into spasms,,, oh we got a few wheats too,,, all this has been within sight of the car,, only about 30 more blocks of meters to hit,, some will be worse then others,, some are near bars,, and when I made a trial run near tehm last year,, I got blasted witht eh amount of pull tabs that were tehre,, I know I need to clean them up before I can find the good stuff,,, but I jsut dont feel like it right now,,, maybe once college is done for the summer,,,

You can get closer to those metal poles with your pin-pointer, I have a Garrett Pro-pointer and it works slick near metal poles, under metal park benches and even an old military cannon on display at the park. It gets in alot closer than a coil can, but you must stay about 3 or 4 inches away from large metal.

Good day at the parking meters,, got out for 4 hours and got 102 coins,, managed to get another silver dime,, 1952, also found 3 silver rings,, all marked .925 and when I got home and was separating all the coins,, one of the (pennies ) seemed a bit bigger then the others,,, cleaned it off and it was a 1950 Elephant head Somalia 1 centisimo ,, looked it up on line and it has a color full history, my knees are mangled from bending over and again the police never bothered me,, but I think I better leave it alone for a while,, we haven't had much rain and some of the plugs from my last outing are a tad brown,, hope everyone had a good day

pin pointers also work great in tot lots under and around slides,swings,ect.I use a pistol probe.

went through my logs and have found 546 coins around the parking meters, counting about 15 outsings last year and this year,, didnt realize it was that many,,, I only wish I co0uld dig some of the weak signals I am getting,, I just dont want to ruin a good thing that I have,,, I layed off them yesterday and the wife, dog and I went to teh local ballfield that I swore I cleaned out,, found 30 coins,, all clad,,
