Park2 or field2.....which do you like..or use..

On a beach with dry sand i like field 2...... its just deeper than the other modes especially on the smaller digits where gold falls. BUT...... i tweaked it the settings. Both modes can go nuts in damp sand...... even sand that appears to be dry with a lot of damp sand under it.

The user manual recommends Beach 1 for Dry and Wet sand beaches. Why don't you give that a try

That manual isnt alway right. In really dry fluffy sand.... both park 2 and field2 with adjustments are deeper on gold. Now if the sand is damp the moisture really lights up the minerals. It doesnt take long to know they when they wont work....it sound like a light saber lol. If you can get away with using beach 1 in the water u are better off as well... u may have to back down on the sensitivity a bit. The machine isnt the auiet xcal or CTX..... but its tellung you things....like minerals when close to hard pan or concentrations of tiny aluminum or black sand. Lot of potential for this machine even thou id liked to have seen it tweaked a bit more.
