Hit the local park here in Fort Collins, CO. This park gets alot of use with 4 softball fields with lights, 4 volleyball courts, 4 racquetball courts, 4 tennis courts, 8 basketball courts, multiple kiddie soccer fields a lake (no swimming, darn) a tot lot and picnic facilities. It is located 1/2 mile from Colorado State University so it gets a lot of use.
I'm swinging away with the AT Gold and a Park Person in a grounds cart comes flying across the pitch and stops next to me. Uh-oh, I'm busted? NO, he proceeds to ask if I've found anything good. No, just a few coins ( 83 Rosie dime at 8", I love this AT Gold). The reason he (John) came over to me was to warn me that they had applied fresh pesticides that morning and that I should wash up thoroughly when I finished.
What an incredibly nice thing to do!! I was floored. I've been run out of similar parks in Denver. I proceeded to tell John what a nice park he had and thank him for his thoughtfulness.
So a Big Shout out to John and Fort Collins Park Department.
