I was wondering what is so special about the Tesoro Pantera? Every time I see one they command top dollar for a detector of it's age. I also hear they aren't that deep. I know depth isn't everything,But is it at least respectable on silver coins? Thanks.

I like to know to what a used one sell for i could buy a good used Tejon

Not sure my self I dont think it would be any deeper than my Bandito which in my dirt here in Texas if wet will punch down about 8 to 9 inches on a dime but dry dirt it will only get about 6 to 7 inches but I think it does have the notch capabilities that My Banditio does not have saw one on another forum that he was wanting to trade one for a Cibola I think
