Pan of good fortune "2 tones, 2 finds

in the woods

New member
Found a Barber dime 1912-D and a gold wedding band, a FOB and a coulpe pieces of assorted junk.
First silver using two tone ferrous. I've been trying it, but the area wasn't terribly junky, so I'm sure the normal coin setting would do just fine.
The ring came in at a solid 12/21; 12/21; 12/21. 3" down in "dryish" soil.
The Barber dime was a repeatable 11/44, but not particularly clear. Maybe on edge?

Great job,congrats on the ring.
and the other finds also.

Thanks for the pics. Great job on the ring. That signal could easily have been a pulltab so it was a good job digging it.

I'm going to put 12:21 in my program. Also got 12:12.What k is the ring? Hallmarked?

Nice finds TPM! Thanks for the picture and congratulations on some gold!!

Good work TPM. Thanks for posting the signal information along with some of the dig details.

like the wire nice piece

12 21 Is a good ring signal. I have found though that the rings can come in all around as Andys book lays out a typical mapping of gold ring targets I tend to dig all repeatable signals in gold ring territory. I had a great day this spring when I found a 14K mans ring and two walker halfs on the same 2 hour hunt after work...I was having so much fun my wife had to call to see why I wasnt home after work.
Thanks for sharin, looks like a great spot ya got there.
