Pam and I decided to eschew the Las Vegas casino fare and head for a nice restaurant.

I wanted steak and not an expensive one. We found a place called Claim Jumper that fit the bill nicely. I had a nice filet magnon and Pam ordered a tuna salad sandwich. Regrettably she ended up with a chicken cashew sandwich (waitress mis-heard the order). Halfway through the sandwich Pam realized that it was not tuna. So she stopped eating that. Chicken and Pam do not get along with each other.
My filet magnon was very tasty and once completed we headed into dessert land. This is where we went terribly wrong!!!! (not really) I ordered a Cheese cake with a Lorna Dune crust and Pam ordered a Mini-I-Declair. Desserts came and you would have had your eyes explode out of your head with what was on those plates. The mini eclair looked like a football covered in whipped cream and the cheesecake was about 4 inches high and about 6 inches long. We ordered coffee and headed into dessert coma bliss. We decided to also order a slice of their chocolate cake to go, figuring we could munch on this tommorow at our leisure.

This is the description of the cake as advertized in their menu:

Chocolate Motherlode Cake

Six decadent layers of chocolate cake and rich chocolate fudge icing topped with walnuts. Featured on the Food Network as one of America
