from a park in the BIG city yesterday. This is the second time I've ventured into the big town with the Etrac with not much time to hunt and not really knowing where to go etc. First time in the big city I hit silver and wheaties pretty quick on a curb strip outside a school and figured it was a stroke of luck is all.

I have to go back to the BIG city in about a week for my cancer crap (in remission, feel pretty good so should be routine) and THIS time I'll get a motel and get in some real hunting!

Unfortunately the city is a 4.5hr rt for me so I can't hunt here regularly......

Nice finds for a short trip. Sorry to hear about your circumstances but glad to hear that you are in remission. Keep at it...your next trip may be your best ever! Good job!

Nice finds! I'm still hoping to get up there to do a hunt with you this year. Pretty busy this summer though so I don't have as much time as I did last year.

Very nice !

Thanks guys.....

Mike..... Like I mentioned, only been there twice now with little time to hunt and more time BSing, door knocking, driving around snooping, etc. IF we hook up we WILL find coins,,,,they are definately there (unlike podunk...lol).

Scott,
I'll be up there next summer for about 3 months. I'm using my GI Bill to attend a photography school. Of course the primary goal will be to finish the school, but I'm sure I'll have some free time to detect. Will you still be going down there next summer? I'm not saying I won't make it there this year, but I'll be in Oregon all of July renovating my GF's house. Early to mid August might be a possibility though.

Congratulations on the silver and wheats! Thanks for the pictures.
