Not a good idea. I once wrapped a detector in camo tape and the first hunt I took it on learned why the wrap was a bad idea. I propped the machine up in a bush and stepped off to the side to take a whizz. Got done and it took me several look sees to find the dang machine. To prove my point, on another occasion I had reason to be trying two different machines on a wooded/ brushy site and I was swapping off from one to the other, comparing them. Yeah for true, I wandered only a few feet away(walking circles) from my inactive machine which was propped up on a small branch. When I was ready to swap again, I found I had lost site of the spare machine and could not find it ! I looked and looked, but no machine anywhere! Man, did I feel dumb! Well I finally got a "tiny"glint of sunlight off the shiny stem just below the box. Relief ! , oh yeah for sure, but by then I was feeling super stupid! Had the machine been a camo job, it might still be in the woods. Strange Stuff do happen! HH, Charlie

I think it looks rather cool, over here in the UK usually most club digs are on a sunday, and most folks wear camo gear while out detecting, most folks see it as odd but ex-army equipment is usually very hard wearing and cheap as well.

Normal camo colour is fine as far as i can see but the new Fisher F19 in Pink Camo, what that all about then ???

The new "Pink" is for the Ladies. Except for my Daughter-In-Law. She detests the fact that manufacturers are pushing pink. She says that she does not need "Pink" items to prove she is a Lady.
