Paddleboard project

I have been saving some #1 Sequoia siding I got off a house I restored 15 years ago...so besides everything else I'm doing, I started building a 13' stand-up paddleboard out of it ...I've got plenty left for either a nice rowboat, strip canoe, or more of these...seems these are the things to sell right now...and its as easy as building a hollow core door...My glass is showing up tomorrow, so I'll be mixing mud (epoxy) and going hard at it all weekend. I do get some detecting time in every morning before sunup.

Nice Mud, you say there is a market for these things?. Where do you get your favorite plans for boats and such?

Thanks for the kind words Friends...Yes, Ma Betty, theres nothing like being reclaimed if you know what I mean! Steve O, I dont use any plans, just get some wood and let it tell you what it wants to be..Heres a shot of the initial skim coat...redwood really absorbs epoxy, so its best to do this before the glass goes on..
