Looks like you have a nice set up there.

Sweet ride youve got there Ron:thumbup:

I havent ridden in years. A buddy I work with rides a bmw also.

Thats a great day, detecting and riding too.

W6pea,Neil,The Beamer is quite and smooth and best of all it helps take a bite out of that $4.00 gas gallon. Thanks Ron

Hey Ron,
The Beemer looks GREAT !!..... The new improved detector ship !!....LOL !!.....Worth the trip to get huh ? .......Good Luck with it ....... Jim

Nice bike Ron,

I've thought of that myself, but have priorites on a small economical small truck first. I've got grandkids to haul right now. You've got a great idea there and wish the most success...Mark

Jim,as you know these old BMW's are a better ride than they look. The gas price is climbing as you read this post. Thanks Ron

Mark, heck if gas prices get to high($7.00 plus) I'll use the golf cart for my grocery runs.I'm about 4 miles from a Meijer's and can take a back road.Probably couldn't afford groceries with the inflation cost gas causes.

I even bought a second Saturn a 2002 with 70,000 miles on it to be safe incase my 96 quits so I can stil afford to go detecting and other places.
Love to have a motorcycle again for summer use as I like the freedom it gave me, but even at 63 like to show off and go too fast and the body dont heal very fast anymore.
Nice bike you got there Ron.

Rick,I'm 57 and can feel the difference. My brother in law a retired GM engineer and his wife retired from Delta Airlines are very active at 67 each have their own motorcycles and travel all over the US. I shouldn't say this she looks really nice in her leathers for an older lady.I feel my motivation has to remain higher to do things I never gave a thought. The Saturn is a nice little car with excellent gas mileage. Thanks Ron
