I was hunting the "toss zone" along a well-traveled Civil War era road, and I started finding a few dropped Union/Cosmopolitan bullets. After 5 or so, I joked that I was on a whole 10-pack of them. Well, turns out I was right! They were issued 10 to a pack without any caps (unlike say, Sharps or Starrs that came 10 in a pack with 12 caps). I found exactly 10 in a small 10' x 10' area. I highly suspect that it represents a dropped or tossed pack! It was a thrilling hunt, and I took along my camera to share. The railroad token was dated 1934, and a cool find to boot.
