Owners manual and "beach"

When I read "beach" in the manual do I assume saltwater? It says not to use auto sensitivity , GB etc on the beach. I'm hunting freshwater so is it ok to use auto sensitivity? Thanks.

Beach does refer to Saltwater in the manual. I hunt fresh water just as I hunt the dry land around it. HH Randy

Hi Bob,

I hunt saltwater here in California, I can not hunt in auto on the wet sand or water, it will drop the sens. down to 5 and sometimes 1 , I do have a lot of black sand. I use manual and noise cancel it allows me to run sens. at 22 to 26, which is plenty of depth. I also use seawater in the wet sand and water, if I turn it off I have to turn down my sens. again. I just know seawater on lets me run a much higher sens. in and out of the water.

I always hunt with the sensibility until 30 with the mode sea water
And I go hunting in fresh water, ocean and beach
