Well folks,
Finally got the Tejon out today after a week of "bench testing". It performed wonderfully.
I went to an '50s era school yard that gets hunted often (I hunted it myself ten years ago) and found the pictured items in under two hours.
I started with "beep/dig" and kept a bunch of trash (not all pictured) for my seed garden.
The jar lid was very deep. Had me doubting my pinpointing, but in the end it was smack in the center of my hole.
After finding the first clad dime I dug two other "iffy" targets and found that the dime was in an eight inch circle with chewed and folded aluminum cans. I had dug the dime without hesitating. That was with the stock coil.
The enameled charms were todays prize.
Man, it's good to be back.
