Over time with Excal 1000 and Ex II

Ex II with the 14" Excelerator Coil Loot[/size]​

[size=medium]Full day of Lootin"...
Started off with the 14" Excelerator Coil on The EX II
Then went back at night with the Excal an hit the water...third target was the the 14K band
Then it started to rain......I loot in the rain unless there is wind.... so I bailed... [/size]​

unfortunately it looks to be to far gone to make out which bombardment group it is. Are there any marking on the sides like 5th or 8th? That would at least determine which theatre of action it is for.

Thanks ..now that I know what I was looking for its from the 8th....
 
Very nice. I have a nearly identical button (on the right) that I found on the Atlantic coast. Do you think it is Navy? How old?

Thanks..... First for me .... Most of my old silver from here goes as far back as 1880....Some-where after that my guess
 
If you haven't looked it up yourself yet, the 8th Air Force saw action in Europe. Congrats on all your great finds Skully. I always enjoy your posts.
