Over charging excal battery ?

I have a battery that has about 10 hours running time on it. I have a full day of hunting coming up and was wondering if would hurt the battery to recharge it so I don't run out during the day. If I can recharge how long should I charge for? Can you over charge a battery? Thanks. Maui Excal guy Alooooooooha

Depends on which charger you use and which battery it is, if you use a peak charger no problems it will detect when the battery is full and change to trickle, also the ni-mh dont have so much memory as the older ni-cads, if it has 10 hours on an old nicad it will be about done, you could switch it on and leave it till you get the battery warning then recharge, if its a ni-mh just recharge it no problems

I just got the new excal 2 , It charges by just plugging into the wall. So not sure what I can do. Thank you so much for your help. hope to here back. Thanks again DC

the escal 2 is ni-mh, no problems just plug it in any time, leave it overnight
