Has any ever had this happen? Remember I hunt at night..
Started my hunt where I find old silver ( no lake access)
First target was a merc..off to a great start..had a couple more great signal..fishing weight..pull tab etc.
But then I started getting a good signal everywhere I swung my coil.
Thought I was getting into a dumping ground or something .. so I kept moving locations
Well long story short after about 10 min..of a the same signal I gave up and headed to the truck to grab another rig
After about 50 yards I notice in my headlamp, something hanging from the center of the coil??
%$! %#* fishing line with a small fishing weight attached to the coil wire hang in the center of the coil..!!!!

That's an interesting bracelet Skully congrats I found a silver chain once with 18k gold links... I chopped it up and put the 18k in the gold scrap bin and the rest in the silver

I like the bracelet alot.

I was hunting a lake once and started getting constant "chattering" after pulling up a small pendant. I fiddled with the detector for a bit, then started cursing and assumed something had happened to the detector and my day was gonna be shot. Walked up to shore with the plan to put in new batteries and check wiring when I saw what turned out to be the chain that went along with the pendant wrapped up on my coil.

It definitely happens

Nice haul on Silver! And Congrat's on more Gold. What are the odds of a person swinging along and fishing line with a weight getting tangled around the cable and the weight swinging in the area of the Coil without a person knowing?
