Outlaw

Seeking info.on the Outlaw. I have a used Tejon coming this next week but I was also wondering about the Outlaw. Don't really see much press about it. I understand that it is not as deep as the Tejon witch is ok for the most part. Like the fact that it is a lower freq. machine geared a little more toward coins. Mostly need it as a loaner and to keep handy in the truck.

Also have only seen them in three coil packages which for its intended use I just as soon have a single coil package.Anyone know who sells them with the stock coil?

Thanks Guys

Hi FO, I had a Tejon a couple years ago, good machine found some cool stuff but I found it to be a bit erratic and unstable in my ground. And if I offended anyone, yes I've been detecting for over 20 years and I know how to ground balance a machine. I've had plenty. But anyhow I picked up an Outlaw last year so I have a lightweight backpack machine for those long hikes to the old cellar holes, and I have been very happy with it. Plenty enough depth and probably one of the best single tone machines I've used for old coins. It hits real nice on coins. Also very good in the iron infested sites I hunt. And I love the three coil option. Hope this helps.

kellyco. metal detector super store in florida sells them with one coil. the 8 inch doughnut.about 120 dollars less then the 3 coil package. i got my vaquero from them. they dont charge tax or shipping either and 30 day money back garantee. it came up to maine in less than 72 hours too. 3 coil pack is a good deal though for the extra money.

the outlaw would be a great machine for parks , I like its threshold all metal , because you can tell how big an item is and how deep and if its Iron or not , the no motion would be good if hunting shallow water as you can swing the coil slow , on depth its going to hit dimes pretty good to 5" at least in my ground , the 8" coal is good in normal ground and the 7" DD in mor mineralized ground , the ground balance makes a big difference over the Umax don't expect it to go deep in my ground it will not hit the dime in my more mineralized dirt past 5" but the Vaquero will hit a dime @ 8" but the outlaw is a very smooth machine nice sounding nice that its not so hyper it sounds on everything in its threshold all metal it will ignore a lot of junk and yet can find small things if you want , my problem is its hard to own several at one time
