outlaw users, is the outlaw a single tone or multi tone machine? Thanks

It's a single tone that carries a lot of info in its one tone to the experienced user.

A guy I know tested a Outlaw in his old coin test bed and claims it got 7 to 8 inches on a dime using the 5.75 inch coil.

Here's a video of a Silver

Thanks for replying tabman, it was the same tone, it was just crackling on the trash, probably because of disc setting, i have a vaquero and it does the same. appreciate your reply. Thanks. HH

I like the threshold all metal on the Outlaw, it speeks volumes, I can tell if a nail is pointing down or flat, or if its a bottle cap or coin

Thanks GunnrmanMN, Appreciate your reply. I have been wanting to purchase an outlaw with 3 coils. But owning the Vaquero and several other detectors, i was looking for a reason to justify my purchase to my other half. And i thought different tones was something that might throw her off, sounds idiotic, but she might just buy idiotic when it comes to me.:laugh: just being silly and honest. she doesn't detect:shrug:

Tabman can you tell me if the Outlaw has the same audio frequency as the Silver? I think the silver sounds fantastic!

I can do even better. Listen up.

Here's the Outlaw's audio response:

Thanks! Darn, I'm kind of disappointed that the Outlaw is lower. It doesn't seem bad though.

The audio frequency for both should be 630 hz.
