Now i was experiminting with the non motion all metal and found out -if the disc knobb is turned back it will not work or becomes Unstable , but when its turned at about foil it works great , just somthing to know if you are going to work in this mode, -- of course i was working with some really badd ground hear . but I am very happy with the outlaw and this 7" widscan coil this all metal out preforms my bliss when the minerals get badd. its nice to know i can put it in all metal , In the basalt gravles of the St croix river valley this will kick ax or do really well very pleased with this feature. I knew you would find something on that Outlaw! :O What ever you do don't let that Outlaw get away Gunnar! Isn't true no motion all metal mode used to locate gold bearing areas somehow?This feature is of heard of on todays digital detectors.This feature was stuff of the older generation of detectors.Most all detectors are motion only today.This could be something very special about this Outlaw :-Q I say watch him close :O I like that coil.Keep going Gunnar! 
Thats what tipped me in favor of getting it , what detector has a no motion all metal? and look how quite it can be and get thru basalt . and black sand , listin its winter but when the ground thaws I will put it to use. spririt i will try to hang on to this one . With this feature those outlaw coins that have been hiding out under cold rocks for centurys will be brought to justice HH

I thought you have to come out of pinpoint mode to resume hunting.Get back to original threshold right
