OUTLAW NO MOTION -IGNORS NAIL BUT HITS LIKE A HAMMER ON GOLD RING

I am so glad this old technology was revived, I am just amazed at what this thing can do , I had no Idea , I thought somone was mocking me when they asked me to disc out a nail in the no motion all metal, and said no it cant do that . but i Went ahead and tried it and to my suprize it ignored the nails and hit like a hammer on the small gold ring , not to mention it will not make a peep on a hot rock or nasty basalt but still hit like a hammer on the ring right thru it let the video speek for itself this is all metal not disq, but I see the advantige of using this to find gold rings it will ignor tones of small junk and its not even in discriminat mode, whoever brought this back at Tesoro should get a rase

Gunnar, I think Tesoro should hire you to test everyone of their new machines for them and put it throigh the ringer. Hell, if I was management their I would do it in a heartbeat. You go through all of the trouble uploading videos, getting props set up to imitate ground conditions, and post here non stop. Great work. My hats off to you buddy!!

Gunnar you heard me say how this was going to be the big jewelry detector.I was doing really well hunting the other day in the lower conductivity range. You can do some wild stuff with that outlaw gunnar. You may find some kind of an edge experimenting gunnar.

What I wish is that you would stop posting all this stuff on here. How about just pm'ing us Outlaw users this valuable advise? Before you know it, everyone will want one and all of the rings will be cleaned up at the local fields. Stop it Gunnar!!!

I have been finding silver with mine but no gold sofar. Thanks for all the videos. Made the winter months go faster.

Ya I am bored , so just testing , sthill got 15" of snorrw. but i am learning some things about this machine, i may have not taken the time to mess with had summer been hear so its good to go without for a time . its good to be set back , I heard reneforcments are on the way to drive the snorw away .this will open up detecting with the outlawr. and then i will be ready.

If you do some research on your computer, such as old style T/R,no motion etc...you may can find more out about retune. If i remember right on my early day Bounty Hunter i had to press this handle button retune in the disc mode also. This retune button was standard on all detectors of the 70's.If you look at old pictures of detectors you will see a little black button on the end of the handle. This button maintained a steady threshold. This is were this Outlaw feature comes from. There may be a lot of things we can do with this feature?.

Most places I find gold rings do not have nails. Guess I don't understand what the big advantage is. I use a Silver Sabre Umax and a Garrett 1500. The Garrett ID's nails correctly most of the time. Seems like each forum you find someone who claims their brand of detector is a gold or silver magnet. I believe if you take time to learn your detector and search in places that produce gold rings or silver coins you will find them regardless of what you use.

Dunno bout you Kan, but around here most of our parks are litered with all kinds of stuff that come up just like nails. I think Gunnar's demo was simply showing how well it can ignore some pesky junk that maybe other machines have trouble with and still hit on the gold. I just tried it on my outlaw and a very small 14k on my idx pro comes in at the foil range. If i disc foil, i loose the ring. With the Outlaw you can actually tune out small foil and still the same ring..

Dunno much about the term "reverse disc" but Gunnars video was very interesting when the coin was disc'd out but the gold ring was still sounding off in all metal. Has me baffled...:surprised:
