thanks tab, it looks some kind of hair pin and i think its silver, i still have to clean it up some, the outlaw is the best detector i have ever used in iron infested sites with lots of nails, i still cant believe the junk i pull out of the same holes with coins, im really liking this detector! Wish I could talk my wife into letting me buy an Outlaw, and silver and compadre...

The Bandido II µMax gets high praises for being able to work in iron infested sites and rightly so, BUT the Outlaw works better for me. :detecting:

The Outlaw's audio response is a lot like the audio response of the Silver µMax. I like the way the audio tone breaks-up on can slaw.

I sold my Silver µMax because the Outlaw could match its performance when working around a bunch of can saw.

Clad king, I have to agree with you, the Outlaw has become one of my favorite machines for the reason you stated. I have taken several detectors to an old home site I have and done OK but for some reason when I take the outlaw it does exceptional. It picks the good items right out of all the iron and other miscellaneous junk. I think it has a lot to do with the excellent audio and smooth running. I feel very confident with using it. Let us know how that hairpin cleans up! TT

that is nice, the outlaw is a great machine

Great Job,

The Outlaw is a fine little detector. I really like mine and the Outlaw also works great with the 7" DD Wide Scan coil on it.

Happy Hunting, :detecting:
