worked great in the woods I was suprized it was not snagging on branches, I also did some air testing on a dime and in aire testing at minimum sense, i can hit it with a good signal at 5" at 7.5 sense about 6" and with the bost about 7" to 7.5" that is with a good signal nickle goes to 8" and it seems to get the same depth in the forest as it is mild dirt ---

Gunnar I really enjoyed watching your video. The audio tone on the Outlaw is just outstanding using the 8 inch doughnut coil.

I see that you found out that the Outlaw with the 8 inch doughnut coil will nail small button size targets with authority.

Nice video, I enjoy MD in the woods and always keep an eye out for poison ivy, thought I may have seen some in your video? The 8' coil looks like the cats pajamas in the woods, my 8 x 9 is always getting hung up in the brush. It sounds like you may run your threshold a little bit higher than I typically do. Thanks again for taking the time to make the video, enjoyed.

Animal man,

I was wondering if you were going to be stalked by turkeys in this video...instead you found a "pet" snake lol. You are a brave soul picking up that snake! Looks nice and peaceful out there in the woods detecting. Keep up the good work bro.

this part of the woods has no poison Ivy, and the snake is a hog nose, not poison, in fact we have no poison snakes in this part of Minnesota we do have black bears and the ocasional cogar yes I was suprized that the concetric was not getting hung up as my GT with its open DD was getting snagged alot and i do not think the 8x9 would do well as far as snagging on oak branches one thing I like is you dont have to be swinging fast in threshold AM to hear a target what I am finding is you can go really slow and pick up a target or pump the coil up and down and hear a target

Loved your video and glad you didn't hurt the snake. We have copperheads around here, but I don't hurt them either.
