Outgoing Tide

Just wondering if there is any advantage in working the waves where they break on an outgoing tide?

strong enough to stand up and strong enough to work hard at digging a target while getting rammed, then go for it. The guys who are out there are amazing. I have seen some of them dig scoop after scoop. Good luck!

Digging is hard but its also the area where most of the light junk gets deposited.. you will dig lots of aluminum there... go out into the water and search for the troughs... ;)

Well my Exacl II is good for two hundred feet, but once I get past my nose I can't breath, so a lot of good 200' does. Gene

The question was asked by Dig, "How deep out into the water can you go with it?" He didn't ask how far out Craig could walk and keep his head above water. The question appeared to me to be related to the detector. There are divers around here as well as those who only wade but are skeptical about machines that are only rated for 6 feet or so. I guess we interpret things differently.
