My last hunt of 2012 netted me a nice class ring (owner notified) a gold earring and two silver rings. The first hunt of the year netted me a small gold ring and the little heart ring. You have to dig a lot of lead to find the nicer targets at the lake..

Nice Finds. I dig every piece of lead that I can find. I melt it down and cast it into sinkers that I can use for my fresh water fishing for Blue catfish. Folks that detect are some of the best at recycling things. Lost coins back into the economy etc.

I am with you. I recycle all the metals. It pays for some of the upkeep of my toys. I mean tools!
