We had beautiful weather today with temps up in the high 70's.
I got permission to MD some farm land that once had an old store/post office on it. There
had been a platform as well for people to stand on and catch the interurban train.
That stuff had long vanished from the farm land last century. All I found were some old wood that may
have been the platform and some railroad spikes. Had hoped to find some old
coin but not yet. The stuff I found wasn't worth taking a picture of
and posting. You've all seen it before!
There are still some places within a few hundred feet, land that belongs
to someone else who I believe may let me MD there. I would LOVE to find an Indiana Head or
some OLD, OLD coin. I put the MXT in relic mode and went to it but there was so many hot spots I had to
drop the sensitivity down to 7 even 6 at times. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow or Saturday.

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Don't get disappointed in not finding that old coin. It's there, you just have to put your coil over it. Don't give up, you've got a good spot there. That's what it takes...... doing your homework and finding out where and what use to be at those wonderful old hunt sites. I wish you the best of luck and HH. Nancy
