Out tonite for about 1 1/2 hours. I turned off the belltone and tones, and hunted with the mode whereas all the short audio responses are "A" size, meaning coins. I used the coin mode and modified it slightly for my local conditions, eliminating nearly all my typical junk signals. It was kinda fun....... just digging all the little short beeps knowing that they has a high probability of being coins. And you know what? All those short beeps were coins. Even that expired Rabies tag gave a typical "A' sound.
