Out with the Golden today

Had a chance to get out today for about 45 minutes (lunch) with the Golden. Received a good high tone signal with some raspyness around the edges. I pulled out about a half dozen nails then this nice old toy truck came out. Sure like finding this kind stuff!

Thats a neat find I really like those old cars and trucks.

I starting to get a small collection.

HH,

If you can clean that truck up and find wheels for it, it could be worth some money.
There are people out there who collect that stuff.
How long have you had your Golden uMax?

Nice find!

That is a nice old toy truck!

Toys r fun!

I got a 3cyl supercharged motorcycle a few days back...

wanna race?

The truck was about 6 iches deep and it's intial signal was just like a coin. The truck is complete (yea' I'll race you!) with all it's wheels and the only damage was when I hit it with my trowl. I've had my Golden for about 8 months and have made some impressive finds with it and although it's not my main detector It's with me at all times. It has reasonable depth and it's tone ID feature is fairly accurate. In "Heavy" trash with the notch set correctly and a 5.75 coil it's a awesome coin shooter. I hunt with low disc (just below 5c) and when I hear a signal that I'm unsure of I just toggle between narrow and wide notch and I have a pretty good idea of what I'm digging. I don't dig it all as I'm more of the cherry picking type.
