today for 3& 1/2 hrs with a visiting friend who was using his Minelab Quattro.Got a total of $ 4.22 including 7 quarters, 16 dimes, 12 nickels and 27 pennies, and a nice sterling ring and sterling religous medal, both stamped .925.Not a bad closeup with my new Fuji S3100 camera. Had fun with a friend but now to rest up as Im beat:))

After using the analog for years the digital really does the job also. No wonder many have both..Nice haul Mike and it seems long hours at the job has kept you from swinging and you may be a tad out of shape. With the hot summer spent little time in the field and I know when it finally cools my next extended trip will come with aches and pains..Come on cooler weather...

too many 12 hr shifts last week made me a little tired:))
One thing I didnt get was any iron at all.Makes me wonder if the digital does have better iron disc?? Dont recall in two trips getting any false signals that were normally iron.Further testing will show I reckon:))

I got one of those Fear Not rings eariler this summer. The coins look like they came out of a wet marshy area.

they come off a baseball/soccer/football practice area that gets watered.Thats probably it till next week:))

I really feel the CZ3D and CZ70 the newest CZ's out have been tweaked a bit to handle iron better.CZ7 the first digital out handled iron the same as your CZ6A. Have to remember this is in my neck of the woods and areas along with hunting techniques may differ..So its only an opinion.....

Dan, your opinion is always welcome.Hope you are able to get out and make some good finds lately:))
