Spent most of the day in Edmonton searching for possible old finds. We found a patch where many a kid had sniffed some glue. There were tubes everywhere. Also dug this nice porcelain plate that the treasures are sitting on. He used the AT Pro - 5 x 8 coil & I used the AT Gold with the 5 x 8 coil.

This find really baffled us. A watch? A compass? It ended up being a pocket watch case, which the watch was originally shipped in to protect it. Who would have ever known....

Here's a nice toy from the 1930's. It has one wheel still attached. Originally, all the wheels were made of cardboard. Weird!

Here's a silver quarter I got with the AT Gold. I also came across the skull of a coyote. I removed the one remaining front tooth for my daughter, as she wants to make some jewelry out of it. Dang nice day.

Congrats n a very nice Hunt John! I really like ths Car! I enjoy finding them! Always nice to find Silver! Beale.

Good hunt, John! I sure like the old auto, and you always manage to 'sniff' out some old silver. Too bad other's sniffing leans toward the glue - a while back I was trying to repair a plastic item and hit the Walmart for model cement, but was told that they don't carry it because of abuse and theft. Heck, I can remember back when I used it to build models, sad that kids want to hurt themselves with it.

Nice finds, I hate that term relics, always think someone is talking about me LOL. John, when does winter usually close down your season? Artie
