Out with Edge & Sunray 5.5" coil+probe....

I took my little 8 yr old huntin buddy out yesterday. He used The ID-Edge with the new SunRay prototype 5.5" coil, & the new probe. I just took pictures & dug the plugs. The little guy liked playing with both Sunray "toys" & the coil is a great size for a kid trying to learn where to dig etc...
The best picture of him probing is too large so I'll post later.....But, here's the little man with his new FRL hat searching the grass by a factory near his house.

He's filling up his Fisher pouch & giving the thumbs up after bagging a couple more wheat pennies....

Here are his "best" finds after a couple hunts using the Edge & 5.5" coil..

Here's is what I think is his best find thusfar...this is a religious medal from a holy name societies parade in Providence from the 1930's. I had found one from the "second parade" a couple years ago dated 1919. This is the "ninth" parade.

Finally, his attention span with detecting does not last too long yet as when I was digging his plug I turned around to find him half way up a light pole! :O

People were riding by looking at me like, "control your dang kid will ya?" :D

Then I'd get to play with all the prototype goodies and have access to his great huntin' spots! (of course, then he'd have to feed me, and us North Carolina boys know how to "power eat") Looks like you and the little guy had a blast! Congratulate him on some great finds!

One store had them in the corner...but they had dust all over 'em & I think I was the only 1 that ever bought one! Must be a Southern thang ;)
