Hunted for 4 hours today at the fairground went back to where the fill was 2inch black dirt 5 inch of gravel then charcoal black dirt under the fill.

So I started with the 6 inch coil was running at 26 for sense did a 10 by 10 area first I removed all the non-ferrous objects and some iron in my pic .Found 2 wheats at 8 inches right in the charcoal black dirt below the gravel

Then I checked all signals below 7 inches found 2 nickels a buff and v these came in at 15.09 and 14 .10 and this is where the trace built .The coins were at 9 inches and almost 10 in the black charcoal dirt the cursor was going from 25.09 to 15.09 trying to get to the 12 line but could not , I had a rejected diamond in the right bottom corner because I had 31 to 35 line disc out now I wonder how many deep nickels I have passed before .One other thing here I did not dig any aluminum junk or foil at these depths almost all iron .Must of filled this a long time ago .

The Indians dime and copper rings were all at 8 to 10 inches deep have to go back with the 17 and see what else is down there. Most coins here are at 6 inches or less but in the fill much deeper .the deepest nickel I have dug here was only 6 inches and that was only one .But I did dig one in this spot at 8 inch and 2 Indians here before that is why I wanted to hunt in this spot .

The Indians dime and copper rings all gave a target trace weak but in the general area however they were weak and were not that stable they stayed in the id range where you normally would expect them.
The dime came in at 12.40 the Indians came in at 12.32 and 12.34 lower than where they normally hit but in range . Only 1 target did not get to the 12 line a copper ring came in at 15 .39 .

All these coins had iron under them 2 coins had iron on the same plain so these coins were not that deep to start with but filled over .

The lower #s on the high conductors I would have dug anywhere so I would not have missed these as I said before most coins come in at 6 inches or less here unless the soil has been moved around then they can be deep.

Well I stayed tell the sun came out and it was 80 with the humidity can't wait tell fall hope you guys got out . sube

Used a new image service I see there to small to see have to see how to make them larger .

Sube your detecting at this fair ground is difficult and you do very well there. Your getting the most out of your machine. Nice finds today.

Thanks Sube, I enjoy and appreciate the lessons. Now, if I just had a 'fairground' here!

80 and you went home!!! It has been 96-98 with 50% humidity every day for a month here. So I only spend about 4 hours out, til around 1pm then home.

Way to go Sube!
