Ran these settings while relic hunting
Discrimination 80
Threshold 1
Sensitivity 8
Volume 10
Signals were minimal, very few.... switched over to AM and never "looked back" Found the 4 rounds balls pictured, probably 2 I could have gotten in disc. mode but the other 2, I would have missed had I not been in AM. One deep one (around 10-11 inches) jumped between - and +
numbers, the other 3 were positive numbers. I did notice that the deeper one ran a lower positive number until I got some dirt out of the hole. Thlis particuliar situation was not good for anything but AM in all fairness to the C$. This was in a hay(weed) field and had been clipped at about 5", getting a good swing on the coil was almost impossible. But again, ID is
AM mode is great... Depth is comparible to the Garrett 2500 in AM if not just a tad better and that's with a small coil on the Fisher, too. Best to all , RichardnTn

All Metal is the way to go relic hunting. And Sens on max would have worked fine in Tenn. Looks like ya sold that CS though. Someone got a good one.
