Headed out today for a couple of hours. Interesting dynamics on the hills. We had rain recently (it froze) then snowfall on top. Crazy weather for sure up here. Click below for a quick vid.

John, i admire you're hard core detecting enthusiasm getting out there in that frigid frozen tundra.

While you were out filming that video i was either out in my frigid barn repairing my ATV winch for even more snow plowing or sitting on my easy chair relaxing inside my nice warm house watching a movie with some snacks and of course with adult beverages.:spin:

While you were out playing in the snow I was out in a beautiful sunny afternoon digging up coins from around a football field. $6.25 US came out of the dirt this afternoon. One of the coins was a $1.00 Susan B Anthony. We do not find many one dollar coins down this way.

I do admire your dedication to the Hobby.

I've been romping around out in the bush playing with a new axe and practicing winter bushcraft skills.

The little dot in the center of the picture is a red fox staring at me.

I try to keep old building foundations tucked away for future reference while out wandering.
