Looks like some of the school sports fields are starting to soften up a little. I could push my screwdriver down to about 3 inches before I hit frost. And that is definetly acceptable for coin pop'n. All one needs, is an electronic pin-pointer, a screwdriver and the right machine/coil for the job. Using this method allows one to get those targets out of the ground real fast without digging any holes, and that keeps sports fields open to detectorists. No rings today, but I have all year to get them.
