Out Sand Sifting Again For That Elusive Gold :detecting:

My buddy from Costa Rica came back to the Edmonton region, so we hooked up for a water hunt today. A little cold and breezy, but we did put in a solid 8 hours in the lake. The coins were plenty, the rings were not. Probably some 3-4 months ago, the lake was frozen, and some people were playing hockey. A partial hockey stick and hockey puck were found. I also found a Blackberry. It was ruined of course from the water, but I did manage to salvage the "OTTER BOX" protective covering. I believe one of my sons has the same machine, so he can use it.

I'll get the gold next hunt! :)

WOW, how big is the lake to put 8 hours in the water? The biggest lake around here can be done in 2-4 hours.
Did you skin the OTTER to keep your ATX warm? If not that is probably why the Berry died - not enough skin to keep it waterproof.

The stars say you will find gold before month's end...if you do not walk over the target...you have to stop, and dig it.
Glad to hear the ice is gone. You are finding more change than we are, less than a dozen coins in 10 hours in the water (fresh and salt). However, my detecting partner has yanked up one gold ring. His first good target with his new 3030.

The lake is quite large, with a matching beach! I take your quote "The stars say you will find gold before month's end" with a grain of gold. However, the odds are now working for me to find a gold ring.
