The weather up here in Winnipeg is wet and cold and all the crops are in so my friend and I are hard pressed to find places to hunt. We do have one field that dates back to the 1870's and is littered with iron and all sorts of high reading litter. I swore to myself that I would never hunt here again as it's been hunted to death. After reading Mr. Dankowski's article which claims that we are only getting about 5% of the ferrous items in the ground because of iron masking, and the overwhelming proof of the t2's ability to separate targets in iron infested fields, I thought I would give it one more try. Within the 1/2 hour I found two old coins and a multitude of other high reading targets. Amazing detector. Check out the 1861 British farthing, a coin I've never seen before and probably wouldn't have if not for the t2.
