Out of Power

I have been on generator since last night and it doesn't look like I will have power until Sat afternoon, at this point. Am at the library right now. Have fun

The good thing about DSL is that the phone lines seldom go out with power outages so my generator keeps the internet connection going. Cable is a problem that way if your in an area of power outages.

Good part is you have the generator. It came thru here but was pretty weak by then and didn't put a hurting on this area. Front just passed thru here today so the temps will drop now. You run the entire house or just what you need until it comes back on?

but for the life of me, I don't understand people up here that do not have a generator. I am talking about the the people that can afford one. It doesn't make sense. I feel sorry for those that can not afford them, you know the ones on food stamps and smoke and drink and play Keno, hoping there is a short cut to what most of us have.


I got home yesterday from Houghton Lake shopping and my neighbor yelled and said it was back on. We were expecting to be out until tomorrow afternoon but got lucky.
