Took the Sovereign and 1266X for a walk. The old Fisher still puts out plenty of horsepower, nice detector but will over see or shoot through discrimination on old pull tabs still a(fun) great detector to use, found some very deep clad. The Sovereign required some work, the S-1 probe had a short in the cord at the Ohio hunt, the new cord and connector worked well.Oldest coin found 1940 nickle and a wheat. LOL, good to be back in the saddle. Thanks

Temps. appear to finally be lowering out here. Can't wait for my first trip out in the desert this year with the GT.

Glad to see you are getting out Ron. Still sore any? And yea, that Fisher model is got some power for it for it's age for sure. I think that's also the model many guys say will bang on coins mixed with trash in the same hole pretty good on too.

Good going Ron. How did the ribs hold out ?? I know it was painful if you were swinging left and right, or did you just hold the coil straight out in front of you and walk. It could be a new way of detecting.
