Out after work, one coin, then it broke...

It had to happen sooner or later...
It happens to everyone...
I broke the arm bracket...
I had just pulled a coin dated 1862, then craaaaack...
I glued it back together with a strong glue for plastic, but I don't think it'll hold.
I also bought a piece of PVC conduit, which I'm going to cut to size. It might end up being better than the original piece.

Nice old coin find Fabio.

With crazy glue. Also put new black foam and the extra inner layer of grey conduit, held together by a longer central screw. Testing will begin this Saturday.
Now, if I could only find the woodtick discrimination button...:biteme:

It's those big muscles you have Fabio! Email Garrett. I bet they'd send you a new one.

Here's the FIX. Tested roughly and resists heavy duty swaying.
The reason it broke in the first place was that the md got stuck in high grass while I was swaying.
For now, my arm still fits into the bracket, but once cold weather starts up next winter... I'll have to lose some muscles. :detecting:

If it should re-break along your repair joint simply turn the cuff upside down and utilize the short tabs till your new cuff gets put in place.
